Paleokastritsa is the postcard. Six small bays nest beneath olive-clad cliffs, the water shifting from turquoise to deep emerald as the cliffs drop away. We drive the cliffside route slowly so you can take it in.

Your chauffeur waits at the upper viewpoint while you swim, kayak through the sea caves, or step inside the 13th-century monastery perched above the bay. Lunch at the cliff-top tavernas is unrushed and worth the drive alone.
